SOL by Walker is a mixed-use living complex featuring premium one-, two- and three-bedroom residences, terraces, and exclusive penthouses, all designed to elevate urban coastal living on the Sunshine Coast. Construction is underway on this build, set within one of Queensland’s most ambitious city centre transformations.
SOL will comprise two modern residential towers up to 19 storeys in height, delivering more than 240 curated apartments and penthouses with expansive views over the Maroochy River, hinterland and ocean. This project represents a significant milestone in the broader Maroochydore City Centre masterplan, creating a vibrant urban destination anchored by residential amenity, retail activation, and connected public spaces.
Murphy Construction is delivering concreting works on this project such as supporting structural slabs and other key building elements.

At SOL Apartments, the reinforced concrete frame and slab systems form the backbone of the building structure. Murphy Construction has been engaged to execute heavy-duty placement and finishing of structural slabs that support residential floors, balconies, and shared amenity levels.
Our teams work with tight tolerances and sequencing required for high-rise construction, coordinating pours to maintain vertical progression and structural integrity. Attention to concrete mix specification, reinforcement placement, and site logistics ensures that each slab meets the design intent while supporting the architectural vision.

SOL Apartments is part of a major urban centre build site with multiple trades, phased deliverables, and a fully integrated construction schedule. With high volumes of concrete delivery and placement occurring daily, our operational discipline around site access, vehicle movements, pour scheduling and personnel planning minimises disruption and maintains productivity. This coordination is critical in high-density build environments, as it safeguards quality, reduces risk, and supports the broader progress of the Maroochydore City Centre vision.
